Just as I was getting a little homesick for our sweet friends in Memphis, we were blessed with a visit from our dear friends, the Carneys, Chad and Julianne, Emily, Caroline and Abby. And oh what fun we had!! And it was about time!! Molly, MK and James were really beginning to show the first stages of withdrawl from the Carney clan!! (And me too!) This family has meant so much to us during our time in Memphis (and beyond). We were so excited to have them come to Macon!!On Monday, we loaded up the cars and headed out to the Georgia Aquarium. What an amazing place!! This was the first visit for all of us. We did feel a bit like we were on a field trip, counting heads every few minutes, but it was defintately worth it! It was so memorable to see the faces of our kids as they look at God's creation in amazement. As we walked through the huge tanks with these enormous fish, I felt so small and insignificant. But amazed that the hands of the God that created these grand creatures are the same hands that formed us into being. Our God is truly amazing!!
After a full day at the Aquarium, dinner at the Varsity and many smiles in between, it was time to bid the Carneys farewell. As you can see, James was not very happy to see them leave! Until next time sweet friends..........
