Just An Old Sweet Song Keeps Georgia on my Mind

Peaches, peanuts and pecans!! Home sweet home! After 3 years as Memphians, we have finally come back home to stay. The kids and I (along with a WONDERFUL moving truck) loaded up and headed south on June 17th. It was a tearful goodbye, but a much anticipated and exciting trip home. As we drove into the drive way of our new home, I had such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude. Gratitude for all that God had provided over the years. Gratitude for all of the friends and family waiting for us to welcome us home! I guess it was at that moment that I really examined how long it has taken us to get to this point and how many memories have been made.

After a little unpacking, we were blessed to be able to celebrate my Grandmama's 92nd birthday!! Wow!! So, we headed down to Lane Packing to eat lunch and some homemade peach ice cream. It is being able to celebrate times like these that makes moving back to Georgia just so "peachy sweet"!
